Population  is the size and distribution of the Earth’s human population. For example the population of the world is around 7.6 billion people in the world.  Demography  is a social science which entails the statistical study of human populations. For example they demographics might study how the U.S.A has 327.2 million and how India has 1.2 billion people in the small country. But instead of just studying the population they basically track what goes on a thematic maps so like, life expectancy, births, death from a certain time. Like the literacy rate in India in 2015 was 60-80 percent and the U.S is above 90 percent. Some key indicators to population is life expectancy, fertility rate, and young and old population.

Sites and Settlement

1. Site A- Site a is a decent spot to rest because you have a good source of water but it is bad because there are mountains that kind of block your passage to mainland. Other than that you have a good source of water. Another thing is there is no really good pieces of land around to to grow crops so that is a minus. Site B- Site B is an okay spot to settle down. It has easy access to water so you will be able to catch fish. It isn't really surrounded by mountains so that is a plus. The closest farm land is a couple miles away so it wouldn't be able to grow crops then carry them back so there is no point in growing any crops.  Site C- Site C is a perfect location to rest down except for having to cross a river for good farm land. That is a disadvantage because of the crossing of the crops and having to cross the river but it is the location with the closest farm land. It also has good access to water for fishing. It is also near a river so they can catch different thing...
